世界

Loka [lang id =1028]世間; the finite world, the world, a world, which is of two kinds:

(1) [lang id =1028]衆生世界 that of the living, who are receiving their [lang id =1028]正報 correct recompense or karma;

(2) [lang id =1028]器世界 that of the material, or that on which karma depends for expression. By the living is meant [lang id =1028]有情 the sentient.

又名世間， 即有情眾生所住的國土。 佛經以過去現在未來為世， 東西南北上下為界， 由此可見有情眾生所居住的國土， 不但有東西南北上下的分界， 而且是有生滅的， 不是永恆存在的東西。
